Biking Kayaking Hiking Beginner Intermediate Advanced

THESE DAY EXPEDITIONS INCLUDE: Transit, full guide or guide support, sporting equipment, trail snacks, and custom order lunch and drink.

Clients who use their own mountain bike may take 20% off their individual adventure total.

Adventure Explanations:
Fully Guided - A guide stays with clients from pick up, to drop off, for adventure entirety.
Guide Support - A guide provides shuttle, maps, directions, and instructions. Guide may meet clients to provide lunch. Guide may join clients in their adventure for short durations.

Pigeon River Country - Mountain Bike Day Adventures

#1 - MTB Shingle Mill Pathway

Approximately 11 miles, Beginner - Intermediate
Fully Guided, 3-4 hours, 10am - 2pm

$75 per person / 2 person min.

A beginner’s taste of the High Country Pathway, this 11 mile loop of rolling single track will take riders into the PRC following the path of the Pigeon River.

#2 - MTB High Country Pathway

Approximately 25 miles, Adventurous Intermediate - Advanced
Guide Support, 6 hours, 9am - 3pm

Follow the way of the woods along the tight ribbon of remote HCP single track. This point to point section of trail winds through jack pine barrens, aspen stands and oak forests before dropping onto the Shingle Mill Pathway. North to Pine Grove, may the art of balance be with you, while traversing the maze of single plank boardwalks over tire sinking bogs. To Osmun experience the full array of ecosystems this area has to offer, from dense woodlands to conifer stands.

#3 - MTB High Country Pathway

This “fun 50” is not for the weak. Expect average MTB speed to be in the 4-7 MPH range…. This epic point to point adventure begins with gently rolling terrain before skyrocketing up to Rattlesnake Hill. At 1230’ above sea level, Rattlesnake Hill is the highest point on the HCP. Heading towards Town Corner Lake this section traverses northern hard wood, oak, pine and aspen stands. From Town Corner Lake this expedition follows the route of trip #2.

Pigeon River - Kayak Day Paddle

#1 - Pigeon River Day Paddle Introduction

All experience levels, 3-4 hours, 10am - 2pm
Guide Support - $50 per person / 2 person min.

Fully Guided - $70 per person / 3 person min.

All experience levels can enjoy this section of river, including children. Expect warm crystal clear water as you wind through the Pigeon River basin. This section of river is slow moving with minimal obstructions. Keep a lookout for one of the 900 head of elk that makes this basin home. Stop along a sandy shore at midway point to enjoy a custom ordered pack lunch.

#2 - Pigeon River Day Paddle Intermediate

All experience levels, 6+ hours, 9am - 3pm
Guide Support - $65 per person / 2 person min.
Fully Guided - $85 per person/ 3 person min.

This section gives the paddler a true taste of Pigeon River Country. Expect fast flowing stream with occasional downed trees, boulder fields and wildlife. Trip includes custom ordered shore lunch.

#3 - Pigeon River Day Paddle Advanced

Adventurous Intermediate - Advanced, 9+ hours, 8am - 5pm
Guide Support - $80 per person / 2 person min.
Fully Guided - $115 per person / 3 person min.

This expedition is a full day of paddling. Starting in the heart of Pigeon River Country this adventure concludes with a 3 hour section of semi-navigable terrain. Expect many short portages over log jams, twist and turn through a labyrinth of jutting stumps, and find your way through a maze of winding tributaries to the end reward of Mullet Lake. Meet your guide at the halfway point for a custom ordered shore lunch.

Begin this point to point day epic with a 12 mile mountain bike ride through the Shingle Mill Pathway then continue North through changing terrain as you meet your guide at the halfway point. After a shore lunch, hop into the kayaks for a 3 hour paddle on the famed Pigeon River.

#2 - Bike and Paddle Day Adventure Advanced

Town Corner Lake - Pigeon River Road, Advanced
Guide Support, 9-10 hours, 8am - 5pm
$125 per person / 3 person min.

A full day of point to point adventure begins with a 20 mile mountain bike ride on the remote High Country Pathway. At the miday point, meet up with your guide for a shore lunch before departing in kayaks for a 3 hour paddle on the Pigeon River.

#3 - Hike and Paddle Day Adventure

Start your morning with a 12 mike hike of the Shingle Mill and High Country Pathways taking you to the midway point. After a shore lunch begin your 3 hour paddling trip on the Pigeon River.
